Liposuction

Liposuction surgery is performed to actually remove unwanted localized deposits of fat cells from the body. The procedure is meant for body contouring, it is not a treatment for obesity. A suction tube is inserted through a tiny incision placed in an inconspicuous location under the skin and with a suction machine, fat cells are extracted through the tube. The result is resculpting of the bulging areas into more attractive contours.

Tumescent Technique

Tumescent Technique is also used to remove unwanted localized deposits of fat cells using this technique. Large volumes of saline solution, local anesthesia, and adrenaline are infused into the fatty area being treated to cause swelling. This enables your surgeon to maneuver a small instrument called a cannula (suction tube), connected to a vacuum machine, superficially under the skin. The cannula is inserted into the fatty tissue through tiny incisions. Your surgeon gently moves it around under your skin and suctions away all the unwanted fatty deposits to reveal more attractive contours.

Erbium Laser Skin Resurfacing

The skin is the largest organ in our bodies. It protects us from infection and shields us from harmful substances. However, as we age, the effects of the sun, wind, time and hormones begin to show.

At first fine lines appear around our eyes and lips. Then, as the collagen beneath our skin wears out, deeper wrinkles begin to appear. Surface irregularities such as pigment discolorations and acne scarring may also occur. Erbium laser skin resurfacing is a procedure specifically designed to remove superficial and moderately deep lines and wrinkles on the face. The Erbium laser produces less heating or burning of surrounding tissues than other lasers used for resurfacing. This allows your doctor to gently and comfortably vaporize the damaged skin cells layer by layer. Most cases require only local or topical anesthetic. Recent studies have shown that the Erbium laser stimulates the production of collagen, creating a tightening and smoothing of the skin.

Body Sculpting / Mesotherapy

Dr Rose is pleased to be one of the first physicians to provide Mesotherapy in the United States. This technique allows for the treatment of cellulite and other unwanted area of fat deposition. Originally developed in France approximately 40 years ago, the technique is now available in the United States.

Intense Pulsed Light Hair Removal

Dr. Rose offers Palomar Pulsed Light hair removal. This method has the added advantages of not requiring visible surface hair growth for removal sessions, and fast treatment sessions. The manufacturer estimates a woman's legs or a man's back can be treated in about 30 minutes.

Restylane and Perlayne

Dr Rose provides the newest fillers. These substances are safer and easier to use than some fillers. Restylane is a cosmetic dermal filler made of hyaluronic acid, a natural substance that already exists in the human body. A dermal filler restores volume and fullness to the skin to correct facial wrinkles and folds.

Botox Injections

Dr Rose was one of the first dermatologists to offer Botox Cosmetic injections. He has served as an instructor for other physicians at various Botox Cosmetic seminars.

Vein Therapy

We are able to treat varicose veins and smaller veins. Dr Rose utilizes ultrasound guided injections, ambulatory phlebectomy and laser ablation of veins. He also uses standard sclerotherapy to treat Spider veins and reticular veins
